A blind sprinter from Cuba may compete in the 2016 Olympics

Omara Durand, a sprinter from Cuba, already has a few gold medals under her belt, as she placed first at the London 2012 Paralympics, as well in three sprint races in Qatar’s 2015 Paralympics.

Now, she’s working towards a spot on the relay team at the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
