A BMW Parts Catalog Apparently Already Has Parts for the New Toyota Supra

At long last (emphasis on long), we’re finally getting the new Toyota Supra. We know that it’ll share parts with the upcoming 2019 BMW Z4 Roadster. So I guess it’s not that surprising to see a BMW parts catalog supposedly listing the car as part of its supported models.

A reader who declined to be named pointed us to RealOEM.com, a BMW parts catalog that seems to have already started offering parts for the upcoming car. The Supra shows up on the list of cars is supports, and once you click on that, the site brings up a series of engine options to choose from.

You’ll notice that the different Supra models are written as “Supra 20i,” “Supra 30i” and “Supra 40i,” which mirrors the nomenclature that the Z4 will have. It’s unlikely that there will be as many engine options for the Supra, though. That being said, the Supra “40i” looks like it will have the B58C engine, which is extremely similar to the engine code of the Z4 (B58B30O1).

Once you hit “browse parts,” a whole host of them show up. Parts for the engine, fuel supply, radiator exhaust system, gearshift, steering, wheels, seats. All kinds of stuff.

It’s a stretch, but could this parts catalog give us a better glimpse into what the Supra will offer once it’s finally unveiled fully to the public?

For example, under Exterior Trim, this logo could be the font that will spell out the car’s name. It looks neat.

And here, a look at the car beneath its camo livery. Though, to be fair, we all basically know what it looks like by now.

Take a spin through the catalog, see what you can find. Meanwhile, we’ve emailed Toyota for comment and will update if we hear back.
