A journey in Los Angeles: Using Breather and LSTN

Today’s video is special because it’ a two-for-one. During a journey up to Los Angeles, we decided to give Breather the old college try, as the app just recently made its way to Southern California. At the same time, we took it as an opportunity to review the LSTN headphones, an affordable pair of ear cans that support a noble cause.

If you haven’t heard of Breather, the app essentially lets users rent out a workspace for however long you need. The idea is to get out of the hustle and bustle of a busy city or coffee shop and collect your thoughts in a quiet, private area that’s clean welcoming.

In big cities like New York, Boston and San Francisco, Breather makes a lot of sense because it’s easy to use public transportation to get from Point A to Point B. In Los Angeles, however, that’s a lot more challenging because the public transit system isn’t all that great. However, the spaces themselves are great, and the app is super easy to use and book.

LSTN, meanwhile, offers a lot of cool products that promise to be socially conscious, similar to companies such as TOMS and Warby Parker. That means when you purchase a product from LSTN, proceeds are donated to help provide hearing aids to people in need. According to the LSTN’s website, the company has helped changed over 20,000 lives through its partnership with the Starkey Hearing Foundation.

Check out the video above to hear about Ron’s experience using these two products and stay tuned for more.
