Earn 5% Back At Grocery and Home Improvement Stores In Q2 With Your Chase Freedom

Following a few relatively lackluster bonus category quarters (unless you drive…a lot), the Chase Freedom Card’s Q2 category is one that should benefit just about everyone. As reported by The Points Guy, you’ll earn 5% back with your Freedom card at home improvement and grocery stores, up to a maximum of $1,500 in purchases between April 1 and June 30.

The activation option isn’t live just yet, but in the coming days you’ll be able to enter your name and the last four digits of your card number to prepare for Q2.

5% is great, but better yet, you can pair your Freedom with a Chase Sapphire Preferred card or Chase Sapphire Reserve to convert your cash back into Ultimate Rewards points, which can be redeemed at higher values towards travel.
