Foxtrot AlphaTech and news from the world of modern defense.

It turns out that tanks—largely considered among the most badass machines on earth—can tumble and look just as silly as Reliant Robins. Just watch this World War II-era T-34 topple off a trailer at a military parade in Russia.

There’s not a ton of info on the incident, other than what Ruptly—an affiliate of the news agency RT, which is funded by the Russian Government—wrote in its video’s description. According to the YouTube channel, this happened at a parade celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Kursk, a conflict between the Germans and the Russians in the summer of 1943.

The T-34 in the parade, which RT says featured all sorts of military equipment including aircraft, fell onto its side, but luckily nobody was injured.

Here’s a closer look at the incident:

And here’s footage taken from the far side of the trailer:

According to RT, the local media reported that there was a small fire in the tank that had to be put out by firefighters, but eventually the rig was put back on the trailer and brought back to base.

While you can see in the video a number of people clearly shocked by what’s happening, there’s no doubt they all want to ask the tank operator the same thing: Why Did You Turn?
