Fallout 4 mods on PlayStation 4 has been delayed

The beta version of mods for Fallout 4 on the PlayStation 4 has been delayed without a resolution timeline. The feature hit the Xbox One platform roughly a month ago, letting users browse through PC-made mods for Fallout 4 and apply the ones they like all from their console.

PS4 players? Not so lucky.

Bethesda made the delay official on Twitter yesterday.

We regret to say that the PS4 Mods Beta for Fallout 4 has been delayed. We will update everyone when we can.

Hopefully this mod feature is fixed up more efficiently than the extra support Bethesda tried to give PlayStation 3 content back with Skyrim. We’re talking about two totally different consoles with different architectures, but Bethesda had a heck of a time getting Skyrim‘s DLC working on the PS3.

Fingers crossed that this is nothing like that situation.

When the Fallout 4 mod feature finally does make its way to the PlayStation 4, we’ll let you know.
