Here’s what Apple has planned for 2017: iPhone 8, Echo competitor, and more

It’s been an interesting year for Apple to say the least. The launch of the iPhone 7 and MacBook Pro with Touch Bar have proven to be successful, if not divisive products. It’s also been the year Apple dove head-first into the dongle life; a not so popular move with its costumers.

All of this begs the question: What direction will Apple go in 2017?

There are a few products we can expect to be updated. The iPhone 8 should launch in September (like every other iPhone) and iOS 11 should be announced at WWDC. But what about other new products? Is this the year we finally see a true iPad/Mac hybrid? Is this the year OLED displays make their way into the iPhone? Is the MacBook Air finally getting a Retina display?

We can’t be sure of these crazy predictions, but we can hope Apple makes some of them come true. Who knows, maybe Apple will surprise us all.
