Being a traffic cop on a busy street in a densely-traffic’d Chinese city seems like a difficult job, but this guy is a joy to watch, because he’s an absolute pro. Officer Eagle-Eye spots a suspicious crack in the road, minutes before that humble crack grows up into a terrifying sinkhole.

According to the timestamp on the footage, only a couple minutes passed before the lifecycle of baby crack grew up into massive sinkhole; incredibly, the officer had the prescience to cone off the are before the sinkhole opened up, undoubtedly saving cars from a trip to the Earth’s core and battles with the mole-men who dwell within.
