If you’re out stealing cars, you should probably be aware that dash cams are becoming more and more popular and might actually be recording you. That happened to one unlucky thief, who decided to steal a BMW i3 and was recorded in the hilarious video above.
“I have never been in a car like this!” the carjacker proclaims on the phone with what we presume to be his friend. “This car will leave anything for dust. It is off, it can move. It’s an i3 BMW!” The video continues as the car drives along the streets, with the driver making funny statements like “I’ve got a curved tele” (TV) and discussing his “flat.”
The Telegraph, which first covered the video, said the thief was caught the very next day less than 3 miles from where the carjacker grabbed it.
