iPhone Upgrade Program now available online

The iPhone Upgrade Program is a great way to pay for your smartphone if you want to grab Apple’s latest device each year, and it just got even better. When the plan first launched, you had to physically visit an Apple Store to sign up. Now the company is expanding the same offer to its online store.

You can grab an unlocked iPhone 6s through the iPhone Upgrade Program for $32.41 per month, or try the iPhone 6s Plus for $36.58 per month. After a year of payments, you’ll be able to switch to a new model. The plan also includes AppleCare+ coverage.

The iPhone Upgrade Program isn’t available for the iPhone SE, suggesting Apple won’t be upgrading the 4-inch smartphone on a yearly cycle. It’s also unavailable online for the older iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

If you’ve been eyeing the iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus, this makes it even easier to pick one up. Then again, with the iPhone 7 fewer than six months away, it may be worth waiting for the new handset before locking yourself into Apple’s plan.
