Jason will find you in these terrfying Friday the 13th game teasers

A brief warning, these trailers give an uncompromising look into the violence that Friday the 13th: The Game is promising. Naturally, this includes the gruesome murder of several camp counselors, and those who don’t want to see any violence or are too squeamish should probably not click on the video below.

For the rest of us, here’s Jason!

The iconic and unstoppable killer will be returning to an industry that has never really done him much justice. Friday the 13th: The Game features multiplayer matches with one player controlling the maniacal Jason and everyone else forced into the role of the hapless counselors just trying to survive the night.

Naturally, not everyone is going to make it, as shown in a Twitter post that the developers at Gun Media literally dare Twitter to take down. “So…how long until Twitter pulls this clip?” reads the post if it has been taken down by the time this goes live.

And once again… violence people. This one is actually worse.

Ugghhh, I think I remember why slasher movies have never been for me. No, thank you. Still, the game itself is a promising venture, capitalizing on the popularity of asymmetrical multiplayer games and unique environment animations with each of them leading to the death of a camp counselor.

The game pulled in over $700,000 through its Kickstarter campaign last November. It will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
