Minecraft breaks 100 million sales and shows no sign of slowing

Minecraft continues to dominate the gaming world as its quest to become the best selling game of all time moves on. Mojang has just announced that the phenomenon has crossed the 100 million sales marker, totaling in at an eye-boggling 107 million units worldwide.

This accounts for every version of the game across the PC, consoles, and mobile platforms. Mojang’s infographic can explain the details far better than I can.

For what it’s worth, I have not yet gotten sucked into Minecraft, but from what I can tell, it will either be something I have zero interest in or something that will absolutely ruin my life. I’m not seeing a middle-ground here.

Maybe Dragon Quest Builders will bridge me into the real game once I finally get my hands on it. Who knows, but I remain unscathed by the burn of Minecraft. I am an outsider looking in at the ferocious monster.
