One thing to know: After the greatest Super Bowl comeback in NFL history, the Patriots, perhaps sniffing Tom Brady’s mortality, went all-in, getting one of the top cornerbacks on the market in Gillmore, then trading for an elite deep threat in Brandin Cooks. They kept most of their defense together and found a potential LeGarrette Blount in Mike Gillislee (attention, Bills: if the Patriots want your free agent running back, you shouldn’t let him go).
