PAC-MAN Championship Edition 2 leaked for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC

PAC-MAN Championship

We point to Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog as the franchises that have strayed the most from their original visions, but just take a look at PAC-MAN. Granted, it’s hard to rethink a 30 year old arcade classic, and turning him into a generic Saturday morning cartoon star is just such an easier and lazier route to take.

Or, you could sit back and relax seeing that the best rated PAC-MAN game of the last two decades came straight from the studio that spawned him. PAC-MAN Championship Edition came straight from Namco and gave fans a whole new reason to love the arcade classic, and the same people are about to do it all over again. PAC-MAN Championship Edition2 is real, and it is coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

That is, if the Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee hasn’t totally lost its marbles. The game is now rated for a release in the country, and unless this is just one big misunderstanding, it’s a sure fire leak that Bandai Namco is going to have to confirm at some point.

The original PAC-MAN Championship Edition came to Xbox Live in 2007, where it was a major critical success. Eventually, it found its ways to the PlayStation 3, iOS, and PC, further proving to the entire gaming world that the mascot still had tricks up his sleeve.

The crazy thing? He doesn’t even have arms! Keep an eye out for more on PAC-MAN Championship Edition2.
