Pokémon Sun and Moon now work with Pokémon Bank… finally

Pokémon Bank

Pokémon Bank has finally been updated to work with Pokémon Sun and Moon.

If you’re the type of Pokémon fan who’s brought monsters up game after game, you’ve noticed something’s been missing with the recent Pokémon Sun and Moon. The game hasn’t supported the ability to transfer old teams or single Pocket Monsters in from Pokémon Bank.

Well, good news, trainers, the application has been updated.

Pokémon Bank has been updated for #PokemonSunMoon! To celebrate, all Pokémon Bank users can receive Mew’s Z-Crystal! https://t.co/XSh23CubsIpic.twitter.com/pZEU0sdDkH

That’s right, Pokémon Bank users can get Mew’s Z-Crystal

The only way to tap into Mew’s Z move is to get Pokémon Bank. Here are those official details:

To celebrate this update, all Pokémon Bank subscribers can get a Mewnium Z, the Z-Crystal that only Mew can use. When you launch the new Pokémon Bank and receive the gift, a new Wonder Card will appear in your Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon game. You can use the Mystery Gift function to claim your Mewnium Z.

Note that this gift is for Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon players only. It is not available in Pokémon X, Pokémon Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby, or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. Also, you can get only one Mewnium Z, even if you use Pokémon Bank with multiple Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon games. If you have Pokémon Bank, be sure to use the service by October 2, 2017, to get your Mewnium Z.

If you’re new to Pokémon Bank, know that it costs $4.99 per year.
