The skate shoes are laced, I’ve dug out my Walkman and my copy of Sports on Chrysalis cassette, and the parking deck has been cleared, it’s almost time for the most totally ‘80s and ‘90s party of the year, Radwood LA.

While auto entry tickets sold out sometime back in October, there is still plenty of room for spectators to come out, and if you’ve got a rad motorcycle you should definitely bring that out to join the festivities. You can get yourself registered right here.

Acura is bringing a sweet collection of cars from its local private collection, including a concept car you probably haven’t thought of in a long time. To make things even more rad, we’ll be handing out these totally rad posters (above) to the first 1000 people through the gate.

You can probably see the new Andrew Collins Superleggera there. I will definitely be there. Our bud Matt Farah is bringing his newly acquired Safari 911 and Lamborghini Countach (does it get more rad?), so you’ll definitely want to check that out.

We’ll see you at the show!

Oh, and while we’re at it, the 2019 Radwood schedule has been released. A few dates may be added, and there might be a minor shuffle to the order here, but it’s shaping up to be a solid gold Rad year. Be there or be square.

It should be mentioned that I am one of the four co-founders of Radwood, and I directly benefit from people attending the show. Jalopnik has been extremely supportive of Radwood since the beginning, teaming up with us for an events in LA, Philly, NorCal, and more. Every time the show has been extremely rad, and the second-annual Los Angeles show is going to be one you don’t want to miss. There will be live skate demos, vintage video games, a period-correct DJ, and more. Hundreds of awesome cars, thousands of enthusiasts will be there. Will you?
