Remember how the “new Supra” was rumored to be a mid-engine hybrid for like, years and years? Concepts like the Toyota Alessandro Volta from 2004 certainly made us feel like that could be the case. The Italdesign-Giugiaro body packed a hybrid 3.3-liter V6 mounted in the center and all-wheel drive.
