Sony Xperia XA Ultra unveiled with 6-inch display, 16MP selfie camera

Sony on Monday evening announced a brand new smartphone dubbed the Xperia XA Ultra. It follows Sony’s announcement of the Xperia XA back in February during Mobile World Congress.

The Xperia XA Ultra, which features a massive 6-inch display, puts the focus on its cameras. You’ll find a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with optical-image stabilization (OIS) and a 21.5-megapixel rear-facing camera that Sony promises will launch in “a fraction of a second.” Sony also promises two days of battery life and up to 5.5 hours of usage time after just 10 minutes at the outlet thanks to quick charging technology.

The firm was light on details during its announcement, but it noted that the Xperia XA Ultra will launch in lime gold, white and black in July in “select markets.” It did not reveal those markets.
