Spro 2 Android projector hits T-Mobile with Binge On support

ZTE’s Spro 2 smart projector has been around for a while. It’s an impressive piece of technology, offering Android software, a built-in battery and LTE capability. Now it’s available to more customers with new support for T-Mobile’s network.

You can grab the Spro 2 from T-Mobile right now for $499.99. That’s the same price AT&T charges without a two-year contract, while Verizon charges a whopping $549.99 for the device. As an added bonus, you’ll also get unlimited video streaming through T-Mobile’s somewhat controversial Binge On service.

ZTE’s smart projector can create a display up to 120 inches across at a 720p resolution, and also offers a 5-inch LCD touchscreen for controlling the action. It packs a quad-core processor, a 6600mAh battery and runs a modified version of Android 4.4.4. It can also double as a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to 10 devices.

More than a year after it first launched, the Spro 2 is still a pretty sweet gadget, offering unparalleled portability thanks to its built-in battery and wireless connection. Still, we can’t help but wonder if ZTE is cooking up a new model with upgraded hardware and a higher-resolution projector display. If that doesn’t bother you, go ahead and order the current model for yourself via the source link below.
