If you’ve been following these pages closely, you know everything about the 2017 Volvo V90 already. But now, we got fresh pictures of your 410 horsepower all-wheel drive Swedish wagon.
This is a global car, meaning that while Europeans can have it with less powerful gas engines or Volvo’s clever anti-lag diesel technology as well, Americans can choose between three drivetrains: the 316 horsepower gas engine with or without all-wheel drive and the top-of-the-line hybrid T8 that packs 410 combined horses and up to 31 miles of pure electric range.
The V90 also comes with Pilot Assist semi-autonomous drive technology that got upgraded to work at up to 80 mph as standard, as well as what Volvo calls the most advanced standard safety package on the market, with large animal detection and run-off road mitigation.
And now, those images I promised:
I drove a Duett once. It drives like a truck.
