The Koenigsegg Agera RS Successor Probably Won’t Be Called the Ragnarok But It Totally Should Be

I’ve long since lost track of how many Koenigseggs there are and what each one does, but for those of you still keeping tabs, there is a Koenigsegg Agera RSsuccessor coming. And here are just a few more details about it.

There will only be 125 made, according to Swedish newspaper Dagens Industri and via Motor1. The Agera RS is already awesome, with its 1,160 horsepower engine and 3,075-pound body. It’ll hit 277.9 mph, yet Dagens reports this new car to have even more power and weigh less than the RS. There were no specifics beyond that.

Production will supposedly begin within two years and 72 of the 125 have already been pre-booked. So if anyone is reading this and in the market for a multi-million dollar hypercar, this is your chance. Liquidate some stuff if you have to.

Dagens also noted that the car’s internal name is the Ragnarok but doubts that this is the actual name that will make it to production. Yet, as Motor1 points out, previous Koenigseggs have been named Thor and Väder before, so who knows what could happen. Personally, I think the name is badass and should definitely stick around.
