Watch Dogs 2 for PC delayed two weeks, specs revealed

Watch Dogs 2 was originally scheduled for a release on Nov. 15, but a recent delay has pushed back the PC launch two weeks. Those looking to pick it up will have to wait until Nov. 29. Ubisoft claims the delay came about because it needs to make sure the game runs on various PC settings.

The extra time will be used for additional polish and will help ensure the game runs smoothly across a broad range of PC hardware.

But what about the console versions?

Ubisoft did not mention a delay for the console versions, so we can assume that those are safe. The company no doubt wants to make sure that it doesn’t have another Assassin’s Creed Unity on its hands. Ubisoft fans might remember a glitch from two years ago that removed characters’ faces from the models, resulting in something like a horror film.

That as the result of not accounting for all graphics cards, primarily a PC problem.

Ubisoft has split PC and console releases before, and I can see it happening here. Watch Dogs 2 will come to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Nov. 15. The PC version will be out on Nov. 29. See the specs below.
