If you thought your Evo was hard to turn around in a parking lot, try getting an IndyCar stuck in one of the Grand Prix of Long Beach’s narrow escape chutes, as Conor Daly did this morning during IndyCar practice.

Of all the cars to get stuck somewhere in, these may be among the worst. Not only are they wide and low for a single-seater, but they’re notoriously devoid of power steering. Anyone who’s ever driven a car with a manual or depowered steering rack will tell you that it’s the slow-speed parking lot stuff that’s your arm workout for the day.

Needless to say, it’s beyond satisfying to see the marshals step in so Daly wouldn’t be stuck there forever.
