Why the Conor McGregor-Floyd Mayweather fight was delayed

The Conor McGregor-Floyd Mayweather fight was temporarily delayed due to pay-per-view issues, according to ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio.

While the issue initially stemmed from a delay with UFC’s pay-per-view, ESPN’s Darren Rovell reported many outlets were experiencing delays.

According to Rovell, for some outlets, the HD viewing option was no longer available.

Mayweather-McGregor eventually began close to 12am ET.
