Xiaomi CEO offers more photos of Mi Max ahead of official debut

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has shared more photos of the company’s upcoming Mi Max smartphone ahead of its official debut. The images come just a few days after the super-sized smartphone, which has a whopping 6.44-inch display, was confirmed by regulators.

Thanks to that earlier TENAA reveal, we already know the Mi Max will have a 15-megapixel camera on its back, a 5-megapixel camera on its front, a 4,500mAh battery, and a midrange Snapdragon 650 processor.

And now we have an even greater idea what it’s going to look like. The promotional photos above, which show the Mi Max being used in a variety of colorful settings, give us another look at its white glass, giant display, and beautifully slim bezels.

The Mi Max is expected to come in two variants, one of which will offer 2GB of RAM with 16GB of storage, while the other will offer 3GB of RAM with 32GB of storage. Both will reportedly come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed, with Xiaomi’s MIUI 8 interface.

Xiaomi will make the Mi Max official on May 10, at which point we will have a better idea how much it will cost, and when it will be available to order.
