The Car Gods Have Graced This One-Off Custom Alfa-Romeo 4C With Incredible Good Looks

An Italian design house has taken an already-gorgeous Alfa Romeo 4c and somehow turned it into something significantly prettier called the Alfa Romeo Mole Costruzione Artigianale 001. If you prefer your jaw to remain bruise-less, right about now would be a good time to place some soft pillows on the floor.

I can’t say I know a whole lot about the Mole Costruzione Artigianale 001, other than what’s on the custom car brand Mole Automobiles’ website. That site shows specs that match those of a bone-stock Alfa Romeo 4C, and which says (translated from Italian) that the car is a “One-off on 4C base, reinterpreted maintaining the style of Alfa, but with DNA Mole.”

Every angle of the Alfa Romeo Mole Costruzione Artigianale 001—designed and built by Umberto Polermo Design in cooperation with Adler Group—eschews the regular 4C’s elegant beauty for a more aggressive, in-your-face look, with the rear having “louvers” on the window, aggressive dark taillights and quad exhaust, and the front fascia getting reworked completely.

The dark, wide headlights which site far outboard and inside aero ducts, make the car look menacing, as do the large, wide lower grille openings and the tall, upright grille.

Even the interior is custom, with a very Italian brown leather mixed with black leather and what looks like aluminum accents.

The thing just looks incredible from every angle, and somehow achieves something I thought was impossible: It makes the regular 4C look a bit bland.
