Kia announced this week that two of its new cars, including the 2017 Kia Sportage and the 2016 Kia Optima, will support Apple Carplay when customers configure the cars with the Kia UVO3 system.

The Apple Carplay-equipped vehicles are expected to be available during the second quarter of this year, which technically means any day between now and the end of June, and will join the 2017 Kia Sorento, which already offers the tech. And don’t worry if you’ve already purchased one of these cars: Kia said its UVO3 system will be available as a software update to previously purchased 2017 Sportage and 2016 Optima vehicles sometime between July and the end of September.

CarPlay, in case you aren’t familiar, will allow you to control your iPhone and access some of the car’s preloaded software right from an in-car dashboard. Drivers simply need to plug a phone into a USB port to get started.
