AT&T offers Lumia 950 on prepaid GoPhone service for under $600

AT&T has begun offering Microsoft’s latest Lumia 950 smartphone on its prepaid GoPhone service. The handset itself is priced at $598, and it comes with unlimited calls, unlimited texts, and up to 5GB of 4G LTE data every month.

AT&T began selling the Lumia 950 back in November, but until now, it was only available on one of the carrier’s Next plans. Now you can reduce the monthly cost by paying the full cost of the device upfront and getting a GoPhone plan instead.

GoPhone starts at $45 a month, and that gets you unlimited calls, unlimited texts, and 2GB of 4G LTE data. If that won’t cover your web browsing habits, there’s also a $60 a month plan that offers the same, but with 5GB of 4G LTE data.

With GoPhone, there’s no credit check and no annual contract, so you can cancel the service at anytime. What’s more, both of the plans above offer rollover data, so if you don’t use all of your allowance one month, what’s left will carry over for one 30-day renewal period.

The Lumia 950 itself costs $598 on GoPhone, and is available in black and white. It is Microsoft’s first flagship device to come with Windows 10 pre-installed, plus a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, a Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of expandable storage.

The Lumia 950 also boasts a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera with 4K video recording, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 3,000mAh battery.

If you want the Lumia 950 on GoPhone, you’ll need to purchase it through AT&T’s website via the source link below because it’s not available in-store. There’s no word on whether the larger Lumia 950 XL will be coming to GoPhone soon, either.
