HTC 10 Nougat release rolling out now!

HTC confirmed on Tuesday that it’s now officially rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to the HTC 10. It was one of the remaining flagships that hadn’t yet been updated to the latest major version of Android. HTC is making good on a promise from last week after it pulled the update and said it would resume within 2 weeks.

New features under Sense UI

If you’ve been following along, you probably already know that Nougat adds fun new features like split-screen support, a new keyboard, rounded icons and more. Keep in mind that HTC’s Sense UI still runs the show, unless you’ve modified it, so it’ll look different than pure Nougat on the Google Pixel. Also, remember that Google Assistant is only reserved for the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL right now, so that won’t be included in the update.

HTC said Nougat is rolling out to the HTC 10 in the UK to start but will hit other regions soon.
