Volvos Now Come With Spotify Integrated Into The User Interface

There’s no need for a smartphone anymore if you want to listen to your favorites in your Volvo, as the XC90, S90 and V90 comes with Spotify as standard. All you’ll need to have is a premium subscription to the streaming music service.

Currently, you can stream Spotify is Volvos via Bluetooth or through Apple CarPlay, but the new native application in the Sensus user interface is aimed at giving you a much better user experience and extended search functionality.

The app will be available for Volvo owners in all countries where Spotify is available, but accessing it will require a premium subscription. A 30-day free trial period will be available for those new to the service.

Volvo’s integrated Spotify application includes the Connect functionality as well, which allows passengers to use their mobile devices as remote controls for the Spotify in-car app without the need to connect their devices to the car.
