ZTE Nubia Z11 unveiled with gorgeous bezel-less design

ZTE announced the impressive Axon 7 just last month. Now the company is back with another equally stunning device, this time from its Nubia series.

The Nubia Z11 feature a gorgeous bezel-less design that improves on last year’s Z9, offering a bigger display and a slimmer all-metal frame. It’s not quite as powerful as the Axon 7 but it still packs a punch.

The device features a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 820 processor, a 3,000mAh fast-charging battery, a 16-megapixel rear camera with OIS and an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter. It’s available with either 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The Nubia Z11 runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, along with ZTE’s Nubia 4.0 software. That adds a bunch of extra gestures controls that let you switch between apps, go back to the previous screen or control the brightness by swiping at the sides of the display. It also offers split-screen view and the ability to split an app into two separate icons for your different accounts.

The design looks stunning, at least based on ZTE’s renders, with a slim 7.5mm metal frame available in silver, gray, gold or rose gold. There’s also fingerprint scanner in back and a pair of speakers on the bottom edge.

The Nubia Z11 will be available for as little as ¥2499 (about $375), with the higher-end model priced at ¥3,499 ($526). ZTE previously said it plans to release the device in China and the U.S. at around the same time, but the company has not revealed its specific launch plans for America just yet.
