Disney releases a gorgeous trailer for Roald Dahl’s The BFG

A new trailer for Disney The BFG has been released, giving us a better look at the world of giants.

Based on the Roald Dahl classic, The BFG is directed by Steven Spielberg and tells the tale of a young girl who gets whisked away by a friendly giant to a fantastical world of magic. It’s exactly the kind of movie you expect out of Disney, and based on this trailer, it looks fantastic. Giant Country looks amazing and the giants themselves look convincing and just the right amount of weird; the likeness between Mark Rylance and the Big Friendly Giant is uncanny.

Starring Ruby Barnhill, Mark Rylance and Jemaine Clement, The BFG is set for a July 1 release.
