Galaxy S7 hands-on photo leaks out, reveals new rear camera

We’ve already seen plenty of leaked renders for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. Now we’re getting our first look at the actual finished device thanks to an alleged hands-on photo making the rounds online.

As expected, the device looks a lot like last year’s Galaxy S6. However, the camera has been upgraded and now sits flush with the rest of the device. You can also see that the phone comes with 32GB of storage, though it’s still unclear if the Galaxy S7 will include a microSD slot for adding extra space.

The report is also packed with new details. The Galaxy S7 apparently features a magnesium metal frame instead of the aluminum used for the Galaxy S6. It offers a faster processor and a larger fast charging battery that lasts about as long as the Galaxy Note 5. Samsung may also include a water-resistant design.

As for the price, the Galaxy S7 could cost 16.49 million Vietnamese dong (about $740), while the larger Galaxy S7 edge comes in at 19.9 million dong ($890). The new phones will allegedly launch in Vietnam on March 18, though they’re expected to arrive in the U.S. and Europe a week earlier on March 11.
