Here’s how much you’d have to earn to buy a house and live comfortably in 23 US cities

The price of living can fluctuate a lot from state to state, and even throughout different parts of the same state.

Personal-finance site Finder.com has published a list of the cost of “living comfortably” in different parts of the US.

While the term “living comfortably” is subjective, they define it as being able to save a 20% down payment for a home, cover the average per-person expenditure, and pay off non-mortgage-related household debt.

Here’s how much you’d have to earn to live comfortably in the 23 most expensive cities.
