Moto M revealed in full ahead of Nov. 8 launch

The Moto M is set to make its debut in China on November 8, according to new information from Nowhereelse. The site published several images of the still-unannounced smartphone, revealing what appears to be a metal design and more.

Moto’s phones are still unique in some ways, especially the Moto Z with its Moto Mods system, but this phone looks like many others on the market. There’s a basic metal slab, a USB-C port on the bottom flanked by two speaker grills, a fingerprint reader on the back below a camera and LED flash.

Moto M specs and price

Nowhereelse said Motorola will also pack a Helio P15 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 16MP camera, 32GB of expandable storage and a large 3,050mAh battery into the Moto M. These specs, especially the battery, contradict an earlier report from last week that suggested the phone will operate on a Snapdragon 625 processor and pack a massive 5,100mAh battery. That report, too, suggested the phone won’t launch until December.

Something’s rotten in the state of Denmark. Steve over at Nowhereelse is usually spot-on, though, so I’m going with his word in today’s report. Look for the phone to hit November 8 for 265 euros ($295).
