When You’re Rich You Can Ask Ferrari To Make Your Car Even Cooler

The Ferrari 458 Speciale is destined to become a great collector’s car, but for one “enthusiastic British owner,” it just wasn’t enough.

Assuming that “enthusiastic” in this case is code for “loaded”, that’s where this car comes from: the 458 MM Speciale. It’s a one-off 458 made by Ferrari Special Projects, and unlike a lot of rich-dude one-off supercars, it looks classy as hell.

What makes it special? New bodywork, composite carbon-fiber front and rear bumpers, the addition of side intakes and a new rear spoiler, unique wheels, and blacked out A-pillars to make it resemble the 1984 Ferrari GTO—not to mention the red, white and green “Tricolore” of the Italian flag.

And like the 458 Speciale on which it is based, the car boasts a 4.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 flat plane cranking out 597 horsepower, unlike the turbocharged motor in the newer 488 GTB. NA all the way, baby.

I don’t know who the owner of this one-off is, but I bet he (or she) is very happy with their purchase.
