Tekken 7 could be coming to the PC, Bandai Namco surveying interest

Much like JRPGs, the traditional fighting game genre has found itself a nice home on the PC in recent years with Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and the indie crowd coming up big for the platform. Add another influential title to the list, and I’ll be convinced that this is a long-term investment.

Enter Tekken. You might have heard of it. Bandai Namco is currently surveying fans regarding whether or not they would be interested in buying Tekken 7 on the PC, and I suggest you reply positively.

The latest fighter in the long-running series is still restricted exclusively to Japanese arcades and has yet to arrive on home consoles anywhere in the world. However, you can bet that after witnessing the success of Street Fighter V on the PC, Bandai Namco is also hoping to collect bank through the platform as well.

Tekken 7 also has the ability to tap into the Xbox crowd, a venture that Capcom and Street Fighter V did not undertake. It has no set release date in North America or Japan yet for home platforms.
